Adest® OCR gives the user the ability to automatically index scanned documents into the Adest Document Management System.
The documents have a unique number in a specific area on each document. The Adest OCR module will read the number and populate the appropriate field. At the time of populating this field any information contained in your export file from your existing system can be imported into the system. If required two or more zones, it can be set up so that it will select the information contained in more than one field.
